Position Summary
The Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites. This role requires adherence to safety regulations, excellent driving skills, and strong customer service to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a ready-mix concrete truck in a safe and efficient manner
- Deliver concrete to job sites according to dispatch schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records
- Ensure proper loading, mixing, and discharge of concrete
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers
- Monitor slump, consistency, and quality of concrete during delivery
- Clean and maintain the truck, including washing out the mixer drum after deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays promptly
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid commercial AZ/DZ driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Experience with heavy trucks or construction equipment is an asset
- Knowledge of concrete handling and delivery processes is an asset

Working Conditions
- Outdoor work environment in various weather conditions
- Early mornings, extended hours, and weekends may be required
- Exposure to dust, noise, and construction site environments
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders and access truck components
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged periods of sitting, driving, and operating vehicle controls
