Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender and Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Serve food items promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for billing purposes
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area including bar, dining space, and service stations
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers professionally and courteously
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, adhering to health regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for billing, change calculation, and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
