The St. Catharines Club requires a General Manager to be responsible for the management of all aspects of the Club’s activities. The St. Catharines Club is a private member club with a long storied history in St. Catharines, located downtown in the heart of the City.
The GM functions as the chief operating officer of the facility and directs and co-ordinates the activities of all divisions of the operation including: the lounge and dining room, food and beverage delivery, marketing, member satisfaction, finance and administration. She/he reports directly to the Board of Directors. The role requires a person with drive and a sense of accountability because the day-to-day working milieu involves minimal direct supervision.
We are looking for a candidate that can demonstrate proficiency in the following skills:
Leadership and employee management skills; Time Management; Marketing; Accounting knowledge; Budgeting/forecasting/ and spreadsheets; Critical thinking; Goal setting and performance measurement; Events planning; Motivational; Oral, effective listening, written and computer skills. Smart Serve, Food Handler and knowledge of AGCO regulations are a must.
