Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The bartender will be responsible for maintaining food safety standards, handling cash transactions, and creating a memorable experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and recommend drinks or menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and prevent over-serving
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow during busy hours
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs
- Experience in hospitality or food service environments is highly desirable

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
