Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong expertise in accounting software and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into company performance.
- Conduct account reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Implement and maintain robust accounting procedures using software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or other accounting platforms.
- Monitor cash flow, manage budgeting processes, and assist in financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Lead efforts in process improvements for financial systems and reporting accuracy.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role within a corporate environment.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong background in account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with payroll management processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and present actionable insights effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $66,113.24-$110,000.00 per year
