Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full Time Casa Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging daily activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, needs, and achievements
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities
- Ensure the classroom is organized, clean, and stocked with educational materials and supplies
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Strong childcare skills with an understanding of child development stages
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while fostering teamwork and collaboration
- RECE an asset
