Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and providing a memorable dining experience. Experience in the food industry and strong customer service skills are essential to succeed in this position.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces in accordance with sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest services and uphold restaurant standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is considered an asset
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for order entry, billing, and cash handling accurately
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Hospitality background or experience working in the food industry will be highly valued
Pay: $16.00-$25.49 per hour
