A certified Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in processing prescriptions and patient requests, from the reception to the dispensing of the medications including initial verification.
They also participate in supply of drugs and equipment necessary for the proper function of the laboratory and contributes to inventory maintenance and verification.
The pharmacy technician has the necessary independent authority (as well as the duties and responsibilities associated with it, which requires them to subscribe to a liability insurance under the law) to prepare, process and mix prescriptions.
In addition, they collaborate with the Pharmacist to promote health and well-being for patients.
Finally, Pharmacy Technicians provide exemplary customer service in the laboratory, in the OTC section, and works closely with the members of their team.
