We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Aquatic Facility Attendant to support the daily operations and upkeep of our aquatic facility. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for our staff, swimmers, and families.
The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable completing a variety of facility and pool-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with pool chemical testing and balancing (training provided)
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the facility, including:
- Cleaning and restocking bathrooms and change rooms
- Mopping the pool deck
- Vacuuming hallways and common areas
- Emptying garbage and recycling
- Monitor facility cleanliness and report maintenance concerns
- Complete other small maintenance or support tasks as needed
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and facility procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in facility maintenance, janitorial work, or pool operations is an asset but not required
- Willingness to learn pool chemical handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physically able to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a warm, humid pool environment
Training & Requirements
- On-the-job training provided
- Pool Operator certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be able to follow health and safety guidelines
