Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and hard-working Heavy-Duty Truck, Trailer, and Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background with experience in various types of heavy equipment and machinery. This role requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trailers and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Wage is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, heavy trucks and trailers, including inspections and troubleshooting
- Complete equipment maintenance records
- Sourcing and ordering parts
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation
- Jobsite equipment repairs and service
- Afterhours emergency repairs when required
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class-5 license or higher
- Must speak, read, and write English
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to stay organized
- Ability to work in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
