Position Overview:
Plan, manage and provide oversight on programs with a set of underlying projects, or larger/more strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Business Leaders to define scope and objectives of assigned programs/projects.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resources plans, and status reports.
- Manage expenses, budget and overall administration of the program/project.
- Mitigate risk by anticipating and taking appropriate action to address any developments that could potentially affect the achievement of the plan.
- Manage all expectations of the program/project sponsor, via leadership of the program/project Steering Committee.
- Share and transfer knowledge to support business areas during and post completion of the project.
- Build relationships with a diverse network of people, to obtain results by assisting and influencing the work of others especially when there is not direct authority with the group.
Qualifications:
- Accredited Project Management Professional (PMP)
- 7-10 years progressive program/project management-related experience, with a proven track record of successful execution of projects, including projects with non-technology focus
- Detailed working knowledge of project management technology (MS Project)
- Excellent analytical and decision making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly identify and communicate the status and progress of programs/projects, and to anticipate, recognize and resolve issues concerning the program/project objectives
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
