ASSISTANT MANAGER
LOCATION: YORKTON, SK

We provide direct freight service to over 550 locations in the province. As an agent for Atlas Van Lines, our Moving Division offers local and long distance moving services. We are proud to continue a 60-year history of serving companies and individuals throughout Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities:
· Assist the Branch Manager with all day-to-day operations
· Lead and supervise employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management
· Coordinate dispatch, claims, OS&D, and other operational activities
· Complete administrative duties and required reports within established deadlines
· Collaborate with the manager to ensure customer satisfaction and support new business development within the household moving division
· Promote and enforce health and safety standards while leading by example
· Ensure safe operation and maintenance of trucks and equipment in coordination with the shop
· Build and maintain community relationships to promote the company’s image and corporate sponsorships
Qualifications:
· Motivated, customer-focused individual with leadership potential
· Management and sales experience an asset (training provided)
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license but valid class 1A is an asset
· Basic computer and strong communication skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Willingness to learn and adapt to operational needs (flexible hours and days as required)
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
