Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to minimize downtime
- Conduct electrical work including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and maintenance of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated processes
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule preventive maintenance and document work performed
- Execute welding tasks for equipment repair or fabrication projects following safety standards and schematics
- Read and interpret technical schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues
- Oversee facilities maintenance activities including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and general building upkeep
- Supervise or assist with maintenance teams, providing guidance on complex repairs and ensuring safety compliance
Skills
- Proven supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance or facilities environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing settings
- Electrical experience including wiring, troubleshooting circuits, and working with PLCs
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and documentation
- Skilled in welding techniques for repair or fabrication tasks
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem resolution
- Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance standards, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance
