Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations in the restaurant industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Understanding of basic cooking methods and techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
