Who are you?
You are an experienced client-side Senior Project Manager with 8–12 years of post-graduate experience, either stepping into a senior role or currently operating at this level in a similar environment. You bring strong leadership capabilities, a proven track record delivering complex projects, and deep expertise in retail construction programmes.
You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-site delivery environment and can effectively manage stakeholders across geographically dispersed projects.
Job Description
You will lead all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation through to close-out, with full accountability for delivery. As a senior leader within the team, you will drive project strategy, mentor junior team members, and ensure best-in-class project execution.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple projects or programmes, particularly within retail construction environments, ensuring alignment with client objectives for cost, schedule, and quality.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance, proactive risk management, and value-driven solutions.

Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring robust controls and accurate forecasting.

Lead design, procurement, and construction phases, ensuring seamless coordination across all stakeholders.

Conduct regular site visits (including travel across regions) to monitor progress, ensure quality, and enforce safety and compliance standards.

Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors, enforcing contractual obligations under CCDC contracts, MSAs, and other agreements.

Lead procurement activities including tender strategy, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.

Drive risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution, ensuring minimal impact on project delivery.

Oversee change management, cost control, and progress payments, ensuring financial accountability across projects.

Ensure comprehensive project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, deficiencies, and closeout packages.

Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.

Collaborate with internal leadership and contribute to client relationship management and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
-
8+ years of experience in project or construction management, with a strong track record delivering projects in a client-side or consulting environment.

Significant experience in retail construction (e.g., rollouts, store fit-outs, multi-site programmes) is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-site or fast-track projects and manage competing priorities.

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building systems, and CCDC contract frameworks.

Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.

Expertise in budget management, cost control, and commercial oversight.

Proficiency with tools such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Office; familiarity with project management and IWMS tools is an asset.

Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, or G Suite is an asset.

Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Professional designations (PMP, P.Eng, CET, Architectural Technologist, MRICS) are considered strong assets.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information
The base salary range for this full-time role is $95,000 - $135,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
