Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
- Help with setting up and cleaning job sites
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 44 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON M5A 3S1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
