Role Overview:
A well-established public accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Canadian Tax Manager (CPA) to support and help lead its domestic tax practice. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a hybrid work model and a competitive compensation range.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work closely with tax leadership to manage tax compliance and planning engagements for individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and small to mid-sized private corporations.
Responsibilities include leading client engagements, identifying tax planning opportunities, conducting tax research, collaborating with a US tax team on cross-border matters, and mentoring junior tax professionals.
The role also involves overseeing day-to-day tax team operations and ensuring high-quality client service.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a CPA with 10+ years of public accounting experience, including at least 7 years at the manager level specializing in Canadian domestic tax.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential, along with proficiency in Taxprep, CCH, Caseware, and MS Office.
Exposure to US tax compliance is considered an asset.
License/Certification:

Pay: $81,238.24-$139,004.87 per year
