Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion infor horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction, with the ability to operate various tools and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic setting, contributing to the beautification and health of our clients' landscapes.
Duties:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators for landscaping projects and site preparation
- Install and repair irrigation systems to promote efficient water use and plant health
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, edging, and other landscaping tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist with construction projects such as retaining walls, patios, or pathways
- Apply horticultural principles to improve plant health and landscape aesthetics
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet client specifications
Qualifications
- Prior experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery like excavators and irrigation systems
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
- Knowledge of irrigation installation and repair techniques
- Familiarity with construction practices relevant to outdoor projects
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for transporting equipment or materials
