Kasper Truck & Coach Service is expanding, and we’re looking for hardworking, self-motivated technicians who want to build something great with us.
Whether you’re a licensed Journeyperson, Apprentice (Level 1-4), or an experienced mechanic with heavy-duty truck or coach experience, we’d like to hear from you. We value attitude, work ethic, willingness to learn, and being part of a strong team just as much as certifications.
Our fleet includes:
- Prevost H3-45 & X3-45 Coaches
- MCI J4500 & D4500 Coaches
- Freightliner M2 106 & 112
- Ford Transit Vans
- Ford E450 & F550 Cutaways
- Plus other commercial vehicles as our fleet continues to grow
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks and motorcoaches.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, air, hydraulic and electronic systems.
- Complete Schedule 4 inspections and semi-annual safety inspections.
- Repair brakes, suspension, steering, engines, cooling systems, HVAC and driveline components.
- Diagnose electrical issues, multiplex systems, Starlink, cameras and onboard electronics.
- Order parts and help maintain shop inventory.
- Assist with emergency breakdowns when required.
- Help us build efficient shop procedures and contribute ideas to improve operations.
- Keep accurate service records and inspection documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Heavy truck, coach or commercial vehicle repair experience.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Pride in producing quality work.
- Ability to work as part of a growing team.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Valid driver’s licence (Class 2 or higher is an asset).
Certifications
A Red Seal or Journeyperson certification is an asset but not required.

English is preferred, but it does not need to be perfect.

Pay
Pay is based on experience, certification and ability.
- Level 1 Apprentice or equivalent experience: Starting around $25/hour
- Level 2 Apprentice: Higher based on experience
- Level 3 Apprentice: Higher based on experience
- Level 4 Apprentice: Higher based on experience
- Journeyperson / Red Seal Technicians: Up to $45/hour
