Mechanical Service Coordinator

At CDC, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a Service Coordinator to join our team in our Mississauga office. This role is vital to supporting our strategic plan by ensuring the smooth operation of the Service department, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Job Summary: As a Service Coordinator, you will excel at processing service orders, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns. Your ability to support both internal and external clients will be crucial in achieving high customer satisfaction ratings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Request Management:
- Monitor, process, and handle inbound requests for services from customers and Clients
- Service Order Workflow Management:
- Create work orders and schedule resources.
- Determine parts requirements and manage parts orders.
- Prepare customer quotations and issue vendor POs.
- Reconcile completed work orders and handle customer billings.
- Close work orders and document processes according to established protocols.
- Reporting Generation:
- Run weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on open work orders, sales orders, and contracts to support updating and billing cycles.
- Cross-Functional Support:
- Provide inter-departmental backup and administrative support for service contracts, including new contracts and renewals.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Maintain a proactive approach to customer needs, resolving issues professionally and efficiently while ensuring solutions meet customer requirements.
- Additional Duties:
- Undertake other responsibilities as required to support the Service department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a relevant discipline Preferably Mechanical
- 1+ years of experience in administration or customer/client support, preferably in a sales support environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented with solid interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Experience in coordinating multiple projects and managing conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to independently identify and resolve problems.
- Strong customer service attitude and demonstrated skills in sales and customer retention.
- Proficient in Service Fusion (Preferred)
