We are seeking a part time storefront bakery clerk. This role involves welcoming customers, taking orders, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean and inviting environment, as well as assisting in other roles in the bakery when necessary. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior bakery or restaurant experience is preferred but not required. This position offers 20-30 hours per week and an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the food industry.
Evening and weekends are a must.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Take orders accurately
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail and basic math skills
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and serving as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the storefront and kitchen working areas
- Manage time effectively to serve guests promptly during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or bakery environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and basic food handling procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with good time management skills
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or hospitality roles will be advantageous
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment with a focus on guest satisfaction
Pay: $18.00 per hour
