Applications are invited for the position of Campaign Data Coordinator classified as Pay Band G, in the Development and Donor Stewardship Division, located at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus. The starting hourly rate is $33.55/hr (Pay Band G - $33.55/hr to $38.88/hr) for a 35 hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary. This is a temporary Initiatives/Opportunities position as per Article 17.3.1 of the Support Staff Collective Agreement and is set to conclude in September 2025.
Reporting to the Manager, Development and Donor Relations, the successful candidate provides supports in the new data requirements for the Together Campaign, to achieve the campaign goal. The incumbent will support new reporting on fundraising required by the Vice President Advancement and Senior Director, Development and Donor Stewardship, including campaign revenues in the form of new pledges, pledge payments, gifts-in-kind, events, bequests and cash and stocks raised through the campaign.
- Creating new reports, testing and running on a monthly and quarterly basis for the Together Campaign
- Reporting includes campaign revenues in the form of new pledges, pledge payments, gifts in kind, events, bequests and cash and stocks raised through the campaign.
- Monthly and quarterly reporting to monitor the success of the campaign
- Consultation across the division and data clean up to streamline the process going forward
- Updating and maintaining prospect knowledge in the database, including interest and linkages acquired through research by development staff, performing analysis on giving histories and patterns, and generating prospect profile reports
- Liaise with ITS department and the software vendor, and responsible for technical oversight of the database on issues such as support, service, upgrades and training
- Minimum two (2) year diploma in business or similar field of study
- Minimum of three (3) years advanced experience and high level of proficiency with Raiser’s Edge fundraising software/database
- Previous experience in development/advancement or related field managing a CRM database for philanthropy and fundraising events
- Extremely detail-oriented and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of initiative and responsibility
- Solid understanding of Canada Revenue Agency guidelines relating to philanthropy, sponsorship and fundraising activities
