At Wellington Vision Care, we are a newly established clinic that is growing quickly—and we’re looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, fashion, and creating an exceptional in-clinic experience.
This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys working with people, has a strong eye for style, and is interested in the optical field. You’ll play a key part in both patient experience and daily clinical flow, blending fashion consultation with clinical and administrative support.
What You’ll Do
Frame Styling & Patient Experience
- Help patients select frames that complement their face shape, lifestyle, and personal style
- Recommend lens options, treatments, and upgrades based on individual needs and prescriptions
- Create a welcoming, confident, and personalized patient experience from start to finish
- Support patients in making informed and stylish eyewear decisions
Optometric Assistant Support
- Assist with pre-testing procedures (e.g., autorefraction, tonometry, and other diagnostics as needed)
- Support doctors and clinical staff with patient flow and day-to-day operations
- Provide contact lens training and patient education (insertion, removal, and care)
Optical Support
- Take accurate measurements (PDs, frame adjustments, fittings)
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming eyewear orders
- Perform minor frame adjustments and fittings to ensure optimal comfort and fit
Administrative & Clinic Operations
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Manage patient check-in/out and process payments (POS system)
- Answer phone calls, emails, and voicemails in a professional manner
- Enter and manage orders using clinic software (Visual Eyes)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing clinic and retail space
- Support inventory management and merchandising displays

Schedule
· Monday – Friday | 10-6
· Saturdays | 10-5
· Must be available to work Saturdays; however, you will not be scheduled every Saturday.
Compensation
· $19-24
Previous optical or clinical experience is an asset but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
