Cavendish PEI is seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our team in a guest-facing role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a hospitality environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes at the front desk
- Provide information about local attractions, amenities, and services offered
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Manage reservations, bookings, and scheduling using hotel management software
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Previous hotel or guest services experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and front desk operations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required
