Our team of nearly 60 teachers needs 1 more woodwinds teacher. Woodwinds teachers, while fun and relatable, need also be properly educated and have a strong grasp of music theory.

EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Woodwinds teachers should possess a minimum of:
- University degree in music (or other professional training)
- 2 years of prior experience working at a reputable music school in Canada is a major asset
- Woodwinds teachers should be versatile, be able to improvise, compose, and read sheet music.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Warm and caring
- Encouraging and gentle
- Experience working with younger children
- Infectious outgoing personality
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Additional experience working with children (camps, coaching etc) is an asset
Pay is dependent on applicant's experience and education. Standard starting pay ranges from $30 - $38 an hour. We welcome current university students at the rate of $25 an hour.
