Job Overview
We are seeking a individual who‘s detail-oriented and cares about quality to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing materials, prep ahead of the poly guys, move materials at times and clean out finished units on projects. This role requires you to be able to move at a decent pace for 8-10 hrs a day. bundle can weight up to 80 pounds So Must beable to lift at least that. safety and awareness is import. the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials. The position offers opportunities for growth and development within the construction industry, supporting both residential and commercial projects. Valid license and car will be considered a huge asset and will be looked at first. even if you have no experience this job is very teachable
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine insulation requirements.
- Install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, or mineral wool in walls, ceilings, and windows
- Use hand tools (e.g., knives, and hammer tacker, caulking guns. power tools impact drill to cut, shape, and secure insulation materials.
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure insulation is airtight and energy-efficient.
- Assist with related construction tasks including drywall installation, masonry work, or carpentry as needed. very rarely
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with other trades such as electrical or plumbing teams to ensure seamless project completion.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or insulation installation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is advantageous. But not requierd
- Familiarity with hand tools, and power tools is an asset
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites is essential. But you will learn if not
- Candidates should demonstrate physical stamina for manual labor tasks and the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
