The Opportunity
Nu Edge is seeking Water and Sewer Maintenance Foreman to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, safety-minded employee who has significant civil construction maintenance experience to take their career to the next level. You will play a critical role in supervising a maintenance crew in a variety of urban or rural development projects.
The Maintenance Foreman will work closely with the Superintendents to execute jobsite work activities in an effective and efficient manner that conforms to our high quality and safety standards. Nu Edges’ culture of mentorship and career growth makes this position ideal for the successful candidate to be mentored by senior management and specialists within our organization.
Responsibilities
· Assist the Superintendents and Project Managers with organizing and coordinating maintenance activities.
· Pressure testing and chlorination of water lines.
· Benching and grouting of manholes and catch basins.
· CCC & FAC preparation and inspections.
· Resolve problems as they arise and report on progress to Superintendents.
· Lead, mentor and motivate crew members while demonstrating team values and work ethics to drive successful completion of project.
· Ensure the crew has all required tools for their work, including PPE and emergency response measures.
