EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR POSITION

We are offering an opportunity for a Certified Early Childhood Educator at The Rock Daycare. You will be working with an awesome team who work together to provide a safe, fun, and exciting learning experience for the children in our care.
You will have the opportunity to apply your skills and vision in your classroom. We presently apply a theme-based curriculum which you will develop with the team, providing a unique experience for children in a play-based learning environment.
Nature awaits our little explorers in our peaceful and spacious setting .
Job Description:
- You will oversee and interact with your own group of 6 – 8 children between 12 months to 5-year-old.
- Manage your own classroom environment.
- Plan monthly program on a bi-weekly planning sheet and do monthly room switch over.
- Facilitate per-planned art and open-ended art, sensory table activities, set up dramatic play area to encourage imagination and creativity, set up tabletop toys, floor play toys, and go outside on a regular basis.
- Interact with parents about their child’s day at pick up times and through a parent teacher app.
- Use the parent teacher app to sign children in and out, report minor incidents, post pictures and send weekly updates of child’s interests.
- Interact and work with the team as needed.
- Basic janitorial duties.
Job type: Full Time – 8 hours per day - Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Wages: ECE will also qualify for additional wage enhancement
Requirements:
ECE Certificate or Diploma
First Aid Certificate with CPR
Criminal Record Check
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
