This is your opportunity to join the Airdrie and Didsbury Addiction and Mental Health team. The position will be based in Airdrie with up to 2 days per week in Didsbury. The Social worker 3 carries a diverse caseload and provides assessment and treatment services to clients across the age span. The position provides direct client care and will use a variety of treatment modalities (individual, family, and group) to persons experiencing significant mental health difficulties. Working both independently and as a member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide treatment that is evidence informed and best practices.
As a Social Worker III, you will perform either advanced level assessment and treatment or act as a clinical lead. You will work with or within teams to provide health care services for patients with complex and multidimensional medical, psychosocial, environmental and instrumental needs. You will provide advanced clinical services, consultation to the interprofessional team and patients/families and supervision of students and team members as assigned. You may also act as a clinical lead providing leadership in the planning, development, and delivery of services in a specific area, as well as staff development, quality improvement and evaluation or research activities as identified by the needs of the service area(s).

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:
3+ years of mental health experience including assessment and treatment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a rural setting. Knowledge of local resources.
