Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Class 3 Driver for a contract position (6 months or as needed) operating roll-off bin trucks. This role has the potential to transition into full-time employment for the right candidate.
This is ideal for a dependable, safety-focused operator who can handle long days and take pride in their work.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off (bin) trucks on construction sites
- Deliver and pick up bins across Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Secure loads and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain clean work areas and professional conduct on site
- Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and site conditions
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License (Alberta)
- Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driver’s abstract (no demerits)
- Experience operating roll-off / hook lift (hoop lift) trucks
- Ability to operate manual (standard) transmission
- Must be willing and able to cross-train on picker (crane) truck and bag truck operations
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work 12-hour days as scheduled
