We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lead Guest Readiness Associate to support our team. This position offers a guaranteed 44 hours per week based on flexible availability.
Role Overview:
The Lead Guest Readiness Associate is a hands-on role that requires overseeing daily operations of the Guest Readiness Associates team, while also performing cleaning and inspection tasks. The Lead will ensure the team meets the company’s high standards for guest readiness, acting as a guide and support for team members. While this role is not fully managerial, it requires leadership skills and the ability to take charge during shifts.
The Lead Guest Readiness Associate also understands how their role directly contributes to the company’s success by maintaining high guest satisfaction and reducing operational inefficiencies. Successes and challenges in this space are actively discussed and shared as part of our continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the GRA team during shifts, ensuring all cleaning and preparation tasks meet company standards.
- Perform cleaning, organizing, and property inspections alongside the team to ensure properties are guest-ready.
- Communicate with GRA Managers to ensure seamless operations and relay any concerns or issues.
- Assist with the training and onboarding of new GRA team members, providing guidance and coaching to improve performance.
- Ensure all cleaning protocols, maintenance tasks, and safety measures are followed consistently.
- Assign tasks and manage team schedules during shifts to maximize efficiency and meet property turnover deadlines.
- Perform final inspections to ensure all checklist items are completed to a high standard.
- Report any damages, maintenance issues, or supply shortages to management in a timely manner.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment within the GRA team.
- Understand how day-to-day activities contribute to the company’s bottom line by enhancing guest experiences, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency. This role encourages open discussion about successes and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a cleaning, housekeeping, or similar role, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform physical work, including cleaning and lifting.
- Experience in short-term rental property management or hospitality is an asset.
- Flexible availability is required, including weekends and evenings, as hours are only guaranteed with flexible availability. Certain days off may be guaranteed, provided the candidate is available for peak demand dayssuch as weekends, high-turnover periods, and busy seasons.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
