Job Title: Dealership: Automotive Marketing & Administrative Assistant
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, organized, and tech-savvy individual to join our team in a dynamic, hands-on role. This position supports all aspects of daily dealership operations, with a strong emphasis on digital presence (social media and website), lot organization, administrative duties, and assisting the sales team. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and post engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to promote inventory, specials, and dealership events.
- Produce and edit short videos (e.g., vehicle walkarounds, customer testimonials, promotional clips).
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and help build our online community.
Website Management
- Update the dealership website with new vehicle photos, detailed descriptions, pricing, and other inventory information.
- Remove sold vehicles promptly to keep listings accurate and current.
- Assist with basic content updates and ensuring the site reflects current promotions.
Lot Vehicle Management
- Maintain the lot's appearance by organizing vehicles in an appealing, customer-friendly layout.
- Refuel vehicles as needed to prepare them for test drives or deliveries.
- Support the sales team with customer handoffs and related tasks.
Administrative/Clerical Duties
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct inquiries as needed.
- Handle filing and organization of paperwork and records.
- Process customer payments, manage the till/cash drawer, and perform basic transaction duties.
- Provide general office support and assist other team members as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in marketing, business, or automotive a plus.
- Strong proficiency with social media platforms and basic video editing tools/apps (e.g., CapCut, Canva, or similar).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for moving vehicles).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, email, etc.).
- Previous experience in retail, automotive, marketing, or administrative roles is an asset but not required—we will train the right person.
