Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively
- Assist customers with product selection, upselling relevant options to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote featured products
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Utilize strong communication skills to explain technical details clearly and confidently to diverse customers
- Manage time efficiently to serve multiple customers while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
Qualifications
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are highly desirable to connect with a diverse customer base
- Previous experience in technology or retail sales is preferred, especially involving product demos and technical explanations
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and active listening capabilities
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations accurately
- Customer service experience with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients
- Organizational skills to manage merchandising displays, stock levels, and sales documentation effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of cashiering procedures, upselling techniques, and retail merchandising standards is a plus
