Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Medical Aesthetics & Cosmetic Injector
Multiple Locations: (Edmonton Region) Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, and Spruce Grove, AB

Hours of Work: Flexible Scheduling. Evening and weekend availability required.
Compensation: Range $100 to $130 per hour, based on experience.
Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner – Medical Aesthetics & Cosmetic Injector is responsible for providing comprehensive aesthetic consultations, developing individualized treatment plans, and performing advanced cosmetic injectable treatments while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
This role requires an experienced injector who combines exceptional clinical judgment with a refined aesthetic eye, strong communication skills, and a patient-centred approach. The successful candidate will build lasting patient relationships, educate clients on treatment options, and deliver natural, evidence-based results that enhance confidence and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Consultation & Clinical Assessment
- Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations, medical assessments, and facial analyses to determine patient suitability for cosmetic treatments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on facial anatomy, patient goals, clinical indications, and best practices.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, aftercare, and long-term treatment planning.
- Build trust and establish long-term patient relationships through exceptional communication and patient-centred care.
Cosmetic Injectables & Clinical Excellence
- Perform advanced cosmetic injectable treatments, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and other injectable procedures within scope of practice.
- Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based aesthetic treatments while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards.
Patient Experience & Relationship Management
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience from consultation through follow-up care.
- Conduct follow-up assessments, monitor treatment outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Promote patient education, confidence, and realistic treatment expectations.
- Foster patient loyalty through professionalism, integrity, and consistently outstanding clinical care.
Collaboration & Professional Leadership
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners and clinic leadership to ensure continuity of care and exceptional patient outcomes.
- Contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives, treatment protocols, and best practices.
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies, products, and techniques within medical aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Active registration and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Minimum five (5) years of experience performing cosmetic injectable treatments, including neuromodulators and dermal fillers.
- Demonstrated expertise in facial anatomy, comprehensive facial assessment, and individualized aesthetic treatment planning.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic injectables, facial balancing, full-face rejuvenation, and evidence-based aesthetic medicine.
- Exceptional consultation, communication, and patient relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to delivering safe, ethical, and natural-looking aesthetic outcomes.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary medical team.
