Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety within a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and ingredients according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using ovens and other kitchen equipment
- Assist with food preparation for other menu items as needed
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and workstations throughout shifts
- Serve customers at the counter or assist in food service areas when required
- Follow proper food safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and efficient operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Basic understanding of food handling and meal preparation practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed
