YOUR ROLE
As a Group Benefits Coordinator, your role is to provide high level analytical support to the business across all platforms for the CBIG group of companies with a focus on benefits sales and retention.
YOUR IMPACT
As part of a team, facilitate benefit renewals:
- Review renewals received from insurers
- Identify discrepancies/errors
- Facilitate correction of discrepancies/errors
- Facilitate the negotiation process with underwriting
- Compile final renewals to be presented to the client
- Track and report on renewals and reviews as required in CRM
As part of a team, facilitate benefit reviews:
- Review experience data from insurers
- Identify discrepancies/errors
- Facilitate correction of discrepancies/errors
- Compile final reviews to be presented to the client
- Track and report on renewals and reviews as required in CRM
Analytics:
- Perform high level analysis and reporting for the CBIG leadership team
- Maintain, review, analyze and resolve data in the CRM sales system
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the sales process and required activities
- Prepare benefit client assessment reports including recommendations to be presented to HR leaders within client organizations
- Provide back up support in the absence of others in the Analytics Department
- Other duties as assigned
THIS IS YOU
- 2+ years of experience in the group benefit industry
- Education or experience in Accounting/Finance is an asset
- Appropriate business acumen to regularly interact with Executive
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and detail
- Strong organization skills and ability to work both autonomously and as a team member
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate experience and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality

COMPENSATION
At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass our comprehensive total rewards, benefits, and potential bonuses that we proudly offer.
