Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the kitchen and dining areas. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all kitchen items are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
- Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
- Assist with garbage removal and recycling.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors as required.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation and other duties as assigned.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Niagara Falls, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
