Technical Trainer (Hybrid)
Survalent seeks an energetic and enthusiastic Technical Trainer to join our Training team. The team is responsible for organizing training programs and client product training. You'll be part of a growing training team that plays a crucial role in helping clients learn how to use the company's software products effectively, ensuring they can maximize the benefits and functionality of the software.

What you will be doing?
- Building relationships with customers
- Technical Expert, assisting Sales and Support teams as required
- Project engineering, providing technical expertise to assist with ascertaining requirements in collaboration with sales team
- Delivering high-quality and engaging training in physical and virtual classroom environments
- Design, develop, and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises.
- Create training programs tailored to different audiences, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced users.
- Assess the trainees' understanding and provide feedback for improvement.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in SCADA technology and industry best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to trainees post-training to ensure they can apply their knowledge effectively.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving SCADA-related issues as needed.
- Traveling and delivering training on customer sites may be required approximately 25% of the time
- Other duties as required.
What are we looking for?
- Diploma/Certificate in Information Technology or related technical field
- Experience writing training manuals, user guides, and job aids for IT solutions
- Extensive experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of Adobe LMS or similar platforms is an asset
- Knowledge of Adobe captivate, or similar application is an asset
- Knowledge of Survalent Software (SCADA Administration Level 1 and 2) is an asset
- Knowledge of a SCADA/OMS/DMS (ADMS) platform is an asset
- Field experience in the use/implementation of Survalent software is an asset
- Strong multi-tasking ability
- Excellent communication skills. Due to the nature of the training, it is important for candidates to demonstrate speech clarity, good pronunciation, and ability to explain technical details.
- Must be fluent in English- Speaking and writing
- Ability to think outside of the box
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated
- Good listening skill
