The ParaMed HSW Training is a free and paid program designed to provide you with the education and skills you will need to work as a Home Support Worker in the exciting and fast-growing field of home care. Training includes:
11 days of paid in-class education with practical application
24 hours of job shadowing with a Personal Support Worker preceptor
All new employees complete 3 days of company orientation
Home Support Workers (HSWs) provide professional and compassionate care in homes and residences in the community. ParaMed HSWs assist patients and families with a variety of daily activities, allowing them to live life to the fullest, with dignity and independence. The career of a HSW is very rewarding – every single day you will be making a meaningful difference in the lives of people who need you most in your community.

Please be prepared to join the virtual interview from a quiet place using a desktop or mobile device with a working speaker, microphone, and camera. Check to see if your network connection can support an online session. A plugged in ethernet cable or a strong WiFi network signal will help avoid time delays during your conversation.
