Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Lingerie Store Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of the store, ensuring a high level of customer service while driving sales and maintaining a positive work environment.
This role requires strong leadership skills, effective time management, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting.
Responsibilities
- Follow through on all promises made, problems discovered, special orders/pickups or special-order requests for customers on a timely basis.
- Support the store in achieving established sales goals through ideas and initiative for growth.
- Drive sales revenues by training store staff to improve average units per sale, while ensuring proficiency in product knowledge and proper fitting/measuring procedures, and customer service.
- Obtain and grow the 5/star google rating for your store
- Become involved in all customer complaints. Ensure all customer complaints are resolved immediately and to the best possible satisfaction of our customers, while working within the parameters of Company policy and the needs of your business.
- Work with your Director of Store Operations, to analyze and drive sales volume.
- Provide professional and timely telephone contact with customers to set in-store appointments, follow up service calls to gauge customer satisfaction and quality assurance.
- Lead marketing efforts for the store.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of supervising experience in a retail environment
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash-handling procedures
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of team management
- Excellent customer service and sales management abilities
- Demonstrated ability in time management and prioritizing tasks
- Knowledge of retail merchandising and pricing strategies
Requirements
- Learn and demonstrate proficiency in all store operations systems, including and along with all operations processes and procedures.
- Ensure all visual guidelines are followed
- Ensure store displays are always up to date with current in-season styles.
- Ensure the store is following up with prescribed communication to customers
- Properly control inventory by following all regional standards for reporting stock counts and inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure all retail price changes, promotions, and signage changes are completed on time.
- Ensure store employees are trained and proficient in systems processes and procedures.
- Secure all Company assets according to procedures.
- Secure the store through proper closing, alarm procedures, and timely response to alarm calls.
- Exemplify all Company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or all Company practices and procedures.
- Maintain your own timecard as an accurate reflection of your time worked, including clocking in and out for appropriate meal periods. When you are the manager on duty, ensure other employees comply with meal period requirements and clock in and out appropriately.
- Serve as a role model to all store team members and provide enthusiastic motivational leadership. Project a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
- Continuously observe the work performance of your team and, in the managers absence, supply immediate feedback to all employees when expectations are not met and positive reinforcement when they are.
- Report and properly document any incidents, accidents, or safety hazards that occur in the stores
- Maintain a workplace free of harassment and discrimination by strictly adhering to the Anti-Discrimination and Harassment policies and by promptly reporting any concerns under those policies
- Take an active role in staff meetings at your store. Attend all and store meetings, training courses and store inventory dates.
- Practice and adhere to good store and individual health etiquette for yourself, teams, and customers.
