Help Build North America's Premier Commercial Truck Lighting Brand
This is not a traditional sales job where you inherit a static territory and simply maintain it. You are joining an agile team as a foundational sales pillar and will help shape how Vivid Lumen sells across North America. This is an environment built for someone who wants to take true ownership, your market feedback and execution will directly influence future product development, marketing campaigns, and the future structure of our commercial sales organization.
We are a lean, tightly synchronized team that has spent years building a repeatable growth engine. You’ll be stepping into a fast-moving business with an established brand, qualified sales opportunities, and a proven marketing engine that keeps your pipeline moving.
Your initial focus will be leading our heated headlamp growth strategy while representing and scaling our complete commercial lighting portfolio. You'll work directly with the founder in a fast-moving environment where decisions are made quickly, leaving you completely free to turn warm opportunities into long-term, repeating customers.
What You'll Do
You'll own the complete sales cycle across four key areas:
- New Business Development: Prospect new commercial accounts, handle outbound outreach to targeted dealer groups, coordinate virtual product presentations, and deploy sample programs directly to Parts Managers and Directors of Parts.
- Sales & Account Management: Prepare accurate quotations, close new wholesale business, and seamlessly manage a growing portfolio of accounts to drive seasonal stock orders and maximize annual revenue.
- Dealer Enablement & Growth: Become a trusted advisor to your accounts, equipping and supporting the dealers' Outside Sales Reps with the tools and training they need to confidently sell Vivid Lumen products to their fleet customers.
- Data & Pipeline Discipline: Maintain pristine, accurate tracking within our sales ecosystem, logging customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline updates to ensure accurate revenue forecasting.
Performance Expectations
We measure success by transparent outcomes, not activity alone. Performance will be measured using clearly defined sales and customer growth metrics, including:
- New dealer accounts opened and active buying customers.
- Total revenue generated and portfolio growth targets achieved.
- Repeat customer growth and account retention rates.
- Pipeline data accuracy and milestone tracking within our CRM.
This Role Probably Isn't For You If...
- You prefer a highly structured, slow-moving corporate environment with multiple layers of management and approval.
- You're uncomfortable picking up the phone, making outbound cold calls, handling rejection, and directly asking for the business.
- You need a micro-manager to dictate your daily priorities, tasks, and schedule.
- You dislike learning technical product specifications or understanding electrical/safety compliance.
- You're looking for a comfortable "account servicing" role with little to no active prospecting.
Who You Are & Qualifications
- Confident on the phone, commercially sharp enough to negotiate with Parts Managers and Directors, and comfortable asking for the sale.
- Driven by achieving goals and building lasting professional relationships without needing layers of middle management.
- 3+ years of B2B sales or account management experience with a proven record of closing and growing wholesale accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect for new business and manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through long-term account growth.
- Hands-on proficiency and experience using modern CRM software to track pipeline health.
- Experience selling into OEM truck dealerships, heavy-duty parts distributors, or commercial/industrial fleets is a major asset.
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000 CAD base salary

Pay: $70,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
