Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Resident Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career physiotherapists to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic clinical environment. The Resident Physiotherapist will work closely with senior staff to deliver high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospital wards and specialized units. The position is ideal for individuals passionate about rehabilitation, patient recovery, and developing their clinical skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in assessing patients’ physical conditions and developing individualized treatment plans under supervision
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, recovery processes, and home exercises
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with hospital protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and medical terminology guidelines during patient interactions
Experience
- Prior experience in hospital settings or acute care environments is preferred but not mandatory; relevant internships are welcomed
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology is essential
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are highly valued
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in physiotherapy practice
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
