We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Garage team at the Crofton Division. As a safety-oriented leader, you will organize and delegate work necessary to optimize equipment performance and availability. Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance, you are comfortable managing a crew of trade professionals and using advanced maintenance practices to improve production efficiencies.

Key accountabilities of this role are:
Plan, direct, and control vehicle preventative maintenance programs and repairs, while adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Establish plan, co-ordinate and monitor garage requirements to ensure maximum productivity and utilization of repair facilities, equipment and materials.
Develop garage operating budgets and monitor and control monthly expenditures.
Monitor and control garage performance ensuring vehicles are serviced in a timely manner and develop plans to increase the overall fleet availability.
Develop and monitor targets and standards ensuring productivity and quality levels are met.
Recommend, set and/or maintain actions and maintenance standards to improve fleet reliability.
Establish reliable suppliers with competitive pricing and excellent service required to support the garage operations and the fleet.
Promote and ensure compliance to safety, accident prevention, environmental, and respective provincial fleet regulatory standards
Coordinate and perform audits with our vendors to ensure our quality standards and scheduled deliveries are met.

Ability to supervise and develop the garage team, multi-task and meet tight timelines.
Ability to organize workloads to meet both short- and long-term objectives.

Desired skills and experience:
Strong technical knowledge and experience in mechanics, electronics and hydraulics.
Medium and long range planning abilities.
High level of interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiating and customer service skills.
Strong analytical skills with an understanding of process interdependencies.
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the division.
Various PC software knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook…).
Ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
