Position Overview
The Immigration Assistant will assist clients with immigration-related inquiries, counsel prospective and existing clients regarding various Canadian immigration programs, coordinate documentation, conduct client follow-ups, and maintain accurate client information in our CRM system.
The ideal candidate must have at least 1–2 years of experience in the Canadian immigration industry, strong knowledge of Canadian immigration programs, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel and assist clients regarding various Canadian immigration programs and services, including:
- Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)
- Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)
- Express Entry
- Permanent Residence (PR)
- Work Permits
- Study Permits
- Visitor Visas
- Super Visas
- Understand clients' immigration goals and provide information regarding suitable immigration pathways.
- Explain program requirements, documentation, application processes, and general timelines to clients.
- Communicate with clients by phone, email, WhatsApp, and in person.
- Follow up with prospective and existing clients.
- Assist with client intake and collection of required information and documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the company's CRM.
- Update lead status, client information, services, notes, communications, and follow-up activities in the CRM.
- Follow up with clients regarding outstanding documents and requirements.
- Coordinate with Immigration Consultants and Case Managers on client files.
- Maintain organized records of client communications and activities.
- Provide professional and timely customer service.
- Stay updated on changes to Canadian immigration programs and policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the Canadian immigration industry.
- Fluent in English and Hindi – both languages are mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration programs and processes.
- Experience counselling clients regarding immigration services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using CRM software is an asset.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and follow-ups.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Professional, positive, and client-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Important Employment Details
This is a full-time, permanent, in-person position. Candidates must be available to work from our Scarborough, Ontario office.
English and Hindi language proficiency is mandatory for this position.
