The right company changes everything.
Great residential teams do not happen by accident. They are built by people who show up consistently, support others, protect standards, and lead through action.
At The Kind Hearted Company, our clients invite us into the most personal space they have: their homes. That trust is something we never take lightly.
We are looking for a Residential Supervisor who understands that great leadership is earned, not assigned. Someone willing to work alongside their team, support employees through challenges, maintain quality standards, and help build a residential division that people are proud to be part of.
This is a fully structured employee position, not contractor work. Real leadership support. Real growth. People first. That is not a slogan. It is how we run this company.
What We Offer
Starting at $23.00/hour
- Employee position paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
- WorkSafeBC coverage and company liability insurance
- Paid drive time between job sites
- Paid onboarding and training
- Vacation pay, statutory holiday pay, and paid sick days per BC Employment Standards
- Leadership development opportunities and mentorship
- Potential future management opportunities as the Residential Division grows
About This Role
This is a working supervisor position, and that distinction matters.
The Residential Supervisor is the bridge between field operations and management. This role is approximately 80% field-based: cleaning, supervising, and training alongside the team, with 20% administrative work completed from home. You will spend time in homes, supporting employees, conducting quality inspections, and helping ensure the Residential Division operates at a consistently high standard.
Schedule: Thursday to Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Weekend availability is required.
Great leaders work beside their teams. They do not simply oversee the work. They understand it, respect it, and hold the standard.
What You’ll Do
Field Responsibilities (80%)
- Perform residential cleaning services to the KHC standard
- Support, coach, and train Residential Cleaners and Team Leads
- Conduct quality inspections and follow-up visits
- Assist with onboarding, field training, and service recovery
- Help maintain company standards across all residential services
Administrative Responsibilities (20%)
- Support scheduling, workforce coordination, and employee communication
- Monitor quality assurance systems and maintain operational records
- Follow up on client concerns and support continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
We hire for attitude first. Skills matter, but character matters more. The right person takes ownership naturally, solves problems before being asked, and genuinely cares about the people around them.
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Lead by example and earn trust through consistent action
- Enjoy supporting and developing others
- Stay calm and focused when things do not go to plan
- Want long-term growth, not just a temporary role
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional residential cleaning experience
- No prior supervisory or Team Lead experience required: we train and develop the right person
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable traveling throughout Greater Victoria
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Able to balance field work and administrative responsibilities
- Physically able to carry out the work: this role involves carrying cleaning backpacks and equipment, going up and down stairs, and hands-on cleaning throughout the shift
- Legally authorized to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship available)
Growth & Career Path
We promote from within. Full stop.
The Residential Division is growing, and we are building the leadership team from within. The people who show up consistently, take ownership, and support others are the ones we invest in. As responsibility grows, wages grow.
Residential Cleaner → Team Lead → Residential Supervisor → Operations Manager
