The Honours Social Psychology Program invites applications for the following teaching position to be offered in the 2019 Fall session.

Start Time and Duration: Mondays (4:30pm – 5:20pm) and Thursdays (3:30pm – 5:20pm)

Course Description:
An exploration of one of the central themes in social psychology how we define ourselves. The course emphasizes the relational roots of self and the social processes underlying how identities are formed and change.

Required Qualifications: PhD or near completion of a PhD in sociological social psychology or a related field of study, along with teaching experience. Selection will be based on academic qualifications, demonstrated teaching competence, ability to perform the various duties associated with the Appointment, and previous academic employment experience. (These criteria are not listed in order of priority.)

Preferred Qualifications: PhD or near completion of a PhD in these areas: Sociology; Social Psychology or in a related field of study.

  • Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
