We’re Hiring IN-HOME K-12 Tutors in North Calgary!
TutorBright is hiring in-home Tutor-Mentors across North Calgary to support students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.
We’re looking for tutors across a variety of subjects, including Math, Science, English, French, and general elementary support.
At TutorBright, our tutors are also mentors, which is why we call this position Tutor-Mentor. Tutor-Mentors help students strengthen their academic skills while also building confidence, independence, resilience, and a more positive relationship with learning.

Hours & Commitment
-Approximately 4-10 hours per week
-Sessions primarily take place after school, in the evenings, and on weekends
-Sessions are typically 1-1.5 hours and regularly scheduled
-We are looking for Tutor-Mentors who can commit to working consistently with their students throughout the school year
What We're Looking For
-Able to confidently tutor one or more subjects from Kindergarten through Grade 12
-Strong knowledge in areas such as Math, Science, English, French, or general elementary academics
-Currently enrolled in or graduated from college or university
-Able to commute to students' homes throughout North Calgary
-Passionate about helping students grow academically and personally
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Reliable, organized, and committed to providing consistent support
-Comfortable supporting students with a range of learning styles and academic needs
-Familiarity with the Alberta curriculum as a tutor, teacher, university student, or recent graduate
We Are Especially Interested In Candidates Who Can Tutor:
-K-8 Math, English, and general academics
-High School Math
-High School Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
-English Language Arts
-French and French Immersion
You do not need to teach every subject listed above. We encourage you to apply if you are confident tutoring one or more of these areas.
Nice to Have
-Previous tutoring, teaching, coaching, mentoring, or youth-focused experience
-Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor of Education program
-Experience supporting students with learning differences or special education needs
