Looking for an LDA (Licensed Dental Assistant) to join our team on Mondays. If you have great communication skills and enjoy working with patients we'd like your help the flow operations, we are looking for you. Must be able work well independently and as part of a team. Our office is right in the heart of Yaletown, within walking distance from Stadium Station (Expo Line) and Roundhouse Station (Canada Line) and is transit accessible.
Duties include:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming models
- Itero Scans, CBCT scans
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
Requirements:
- Certification in Dental Assisting
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience working with Tracker is an asset
- Familiarity with orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
