SEASONAL ICE RINK ATTENDANT
to work at a REFRIGERATED RINK
(Tay Community Rink)

The Township of Tay requires a part-time outdoor rink attendant for the period from November 18, 2019 to March 22, 2020 to assist with operations at the Tay Community Rink. This facility is open 7 days per week, and the hours worked by the seasonal rink attendant will be predominantly evenings and weekends. It is anticipated that the hours per week be approximately 24 to 30 hours.

The rate of pay for this position is $18.17 per hour. A complete job description is available on the Township website - tay.ca or upon request.

The attendant will be required to supervise activity on the ice and throughout the facility (change rooms, equipment room). Preference will be given to applicants with experience operating and maintaining an ice resurfacer, knowledge regarding ice making, and having prior experience in a rink setting. Applicants should possess good communication skills, have experience in completing documentation, and enjoy working in the fresh air.
