Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food service environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation and ensure all dishes are prepared and served in accordance with food safety standards. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic meal assembly under the supervision of the chef or kitchen manager.
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and ensuring all food handling procedures meet safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, prep areas, and storage spaces throughout shifts.
- Follow proper food safety protocols during meal preparation and service.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operation.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is a plus.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
